inside salesAmyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) or Lou Gehrig's disease is the cause of over 250,000 American deaths each year.  Caring for someone with ALS can cost an average of $200,000 per year and deplete a family's savings.  HubSpot is working in conjunction with The Bridge Group to support the ALS Foundation for Life Boston Chapter. The idea is to leverage the talent and skills that inside sales people bring to work every day and use that talent to improve the lives of people in need today.  100% of the proceeds from this event will go directly to a family coping with the effects of ALS.

On Thursday, November 3 from 3:00-6:00 PM, HubSpot will host the phone-a-thon.  About 25 sales professionals will make calls to local businesses, friends and family on behalf of the charitable organization.  The goal is to raise at least $2,000 by selling sponsorship packages and team entries for their upcoming Bowl for Life event which takes place on November 12th.

To inject a bit of friendly competition into the event, prizes will be awarded to the event's top 3 sales people.
