As a Cambridge company born out of MIT Sloan, one of the greatest benefits (aside from being surrounded by the smart and tech savvy) is being able to attend and speak at events right in our own backyard. We like to give back as much as we can by sharing what we have learned throughout our own birth and growth in this awesome community.

HubSpot CEO Brian Halligan has had a “busy semester” hosting and speaking at a handful of events, most recently MIT Mass Tech Trek and an event with the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council (MassTLC).

The MIT Mass Tech Trek is a program where MIT Sloan students visit a series of high tech companies to learn about the skillsets that potential employers seek in graduating business students. Both Brian Halligan and Brad Coffey presented to the students.

The focus of the MassTLC event was Getting Started with Social Media. Brian spoke alongside Perry Allison of SocialMarketing Innovation and EONS.com, Pam Johnston of Member Experience Gather and Dan Kennedy of Northeastern University School of Journalism.

Here are a few of the upcoming events and classes where Brian will be speaking next:

February 6th: Speaking to MIT Sloan & Harvard Business School (HBS) Students
February 27th: MIT Entrepreneurship Executive Education Center
April, TBD: HBS Andrew McAfee class on Enterprise 2.0
