HubSpot to Educate CIC Companies About Inbound Marketing

As you may or may not know, the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) is home to us here at HubSpot as well as a number of small and growing companies.  Because we HubSpotters spend our days spreading the word about the importance of inbound marketing, we jumped at the opportunity to teach our fellow CICers about its value, too.

On June 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., CIC and HubSpot will be hosting a free tutorial lunch called "Inbound Marketing 101," presented by HubSpot VP Inbound Marketing Mike Volpe.  The tutorial will aim to provide members of the CIC community with insight into the changing nature of business shopping.  Mike promises to offer actionable steps businesses can use to take advantage of modern, inbound marketing techniques -- using search engine optimization and marketing, leveraging blogs and the blogosphere and engaging in online social media -- to optimize their websites, get found by more prospects and convert higher percentages of these prospects into paying customers. 

While registration if limited to CIC companies, if you happen to be one of our fellow CICers, please join us in the large CIC training room on the 5th floor for lunching and learning about this important business and marketing topic.  Just bring along your laptops (with wireless capability) and plan to arrive by 11:45 a.m. to set up. 

And oh yeah -- if you come a little earlier, a yummy lunch is on us and will be served at 11:30.
