Plant in HandThe MIT Sloan Sales Conference is right around the corner, and we're pleased to let you know that HubSpot's Founder and CEO Brian Halligan (as well as MIT alum) will be heading back to MIT to lead the workshop, "Marketing Transformation & Its Impact on Sales."

Now in its fifth year, the Sloan Sales Conference, titled "Entrepreneurial Sales: How Companies Sell New Ideas," aims to bridge the gap between industry leaders, business school graduates and thought leaders on the science of sales.  The conference, organized by the MIT Sloan Sales Club, will take place on Friday, May 7 at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge.

The 2010 event will feature keynote presentations by Salesforce.com President Jim Steele and IBM General Manager Bob Hoey as well as workshops taught by world-class sales trainers and panel discussions led by leading thinkers and industry professionals.

Brian's workshop, to be held during the afternoon of the conference at 2:30 p.m., will focus on the changing nature of marketing and how this transformation has an effect on sales
