Last Wednesday evening, The Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council (MassTLC) held a reception to announce the finalists in its 2010 Leadership Awards program, and we're pleased to announce that HubSpot CEO and Founder Brian Halligan is among the honorees for CEO of the Year (Privately Held)!
Now in its 13th year, the MassTLC awards program is designed to shine a spotlight on the companies, people, and technologies that exemplify the best and the brightest in the Massachusetts technology community. Winners in each category will be named at a Gala Awards Banquet on November 3 at the Seaport Hotel in Boston.
“We’d like to congratulate Brian for being named a finalist in this year’s awards program,” said Tom Hopcroft, President and CEO of the Mass Technology Leadership Council. “We received more nominations than ever, so this year’s finalists are truly the crème of the crop when it comes to driving innovation and growth in our sector.”
In the past year, Brian has made a number of noteworthy achievements and implemented many positive changes for HubSpot that include securing a series C round of financing for HubSpot, initiating the HubSpot Fellows Program, publishing two marketing books, and leading HubSpot to win a number of prestigious awards.
"I feel so honored to be named among so many other great leaders and companies for this award," said Halligan. "Massachusetts is truly a hub for technology, marketing, and innovative thinking, and I'm significantly proud to be a part of it."
