One of Halligan’s favorite quotes is from Louis D. Brandeis who said, “Sunlight is the best disinfectant.” As a company and executive team, we do our best to live this each day by creating a radically transparent culture. In fact, transparency is one of our core values in the HubSpot Culture Code which now has amassed over 3 million views on Slideshare. Halligan has a strong commitment to transparency by openly sharing information and ideas internally, communicating early and often our company vision, and being accessible to all employees. One anonymous employee review of the executive team on Comparably read, “Everyone is very approachable, we have an open calendar policy so you can book a meeting with everyone, no matter if C-level or VP. They also visit the global offices to ensure they stay in touch with all employees, which is great!"

In addition to his leadership at HubSpot, Halligan teaches at MIT Sloan, has published three books on marketing and business, was named a top-rated CEO on Glassdoor, and recently donated $1.6 million to the Southern Poverty Law Center. In his free time, he loves going to Grateful Dead concerts and supporting the Boston Red Sox.
