Kinzer_Final_Headshot2Today, inbound marketing software company HubSpot announced that technology veteran John Kinzer will join the company as Chief Financial Officer. Kinzer has 23 years of experience in management, accounting, and finance in the software and tech space, most recently as CFO of BackOffice Associates. Prior to that, he was the CFO of Blackboard, a leading SaaS company in Washington, DC, and previously served in leadership roles at e-centives and MCI. Kinzer began his career at Arthur Andersen.

Of the announcement, HubSpot’s Chief Operating Officer JD Sherman noted: “HubSpot has had a big year in 2013. We’ve opened our European headquarters in Dublin, launched the new HubSpot platform and entered a brand new market with Signals, and expanded our presence in Cambridge to accommodate our rapidly growing team. To build a once in a generation company, we needed a CFO with the experience to build a finance team that will scale with our business and delight our customers and investors alike. John is an outstanding addition to our executive team, and he’s joining at an incredibly important juncture in our company’s growth.”

Kinzer echoed Sherman’s sentiment, noting “HubSpot is one of the fastest-growing and most exciting SaaS companies in the world, and I’m honored to join such a strong executive leadership team. From the mission to the market opportunity to the financial model, HubSpot is well positioned for massive growth and expansion. I look forward to working hand in hand with the team to define, develop, and deliver systems that drive results for our shareholders, our employees, our customers, and our business.”
