Use Cases
This module is a better-formatted experience than the regular Rich Text module built into the HubSpot product as it intentionally sets a legible size and length of text.
This is perfect for adding any type of content you can't quite figure out how to display. Everything will be staked vertically on a narrower column.
Audio
This module can be used to embed audio from the audio hosting platform of your choosing. In the module select Insert then Embed and paste the embed code from your audio hosting platform.
If you only have an audio file you can either:
- Create a video with a static image and use that instead. (HubSpot has better support for video embeds)
- Publish the audio on a third-party site and use their embed.
- Embed a basic HTML audio player with a piece of code. This will generate a basic native HTML audio player which will have a different appearance in each browser. Reach out to #creative-solutions to obtain the code snippet.
If you are interested in tracking the audio file's performance(clicks, listen time, etc) once it is embedded in a page you will need to use a third party for this. The basic HTML audio player will not have these tracking and reporting capabilities.
Guidelines
Image Sizing
- Blockquotes: Select some text you would like to appear in a block quote. From the utility bar, select Style > Formats > Blocks > Blockquote.
Things to Know
- Avoid using H1 headers as they will impact SEO performance
- For the most accessible content, please keep headings in a semantic structure
- Use the Pre style to contain important text on a solid color rectangle
- Use Blockquote style to add a vertical line to your text, adding focus to it
- Avoid applying further custom styling to content placed in this module (bold, italics, lists, links, headers are all fine)
- You have the ability to change the width of the module. The narrow width will be 525 px wide and the Wide option is 710px wide, similar to our blog width. If you use the wide option the size of the text will be larger for readablity.
